Besides the common public relations work -- internet sites, publications, lectures and exhibition-stands -- the main emphasis here consists of active participation in project-relevant commitees of standardisation like SMPTE, EBU, JPEG, MPEG, JVT, VCEG and DVB.
Above all, it is to be found out how far existing (or soon-to-be existing) standards can be used efficiently for applications and workflows, in order to present and discuss the results in the corresponding commitees.
Finally, public relations work -- meaning publications, press releases and presentations on exhibits -- is to be completed.
