NAB April 2009
Fraunhofer HHI
Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institut and KUK Filmproduktion first introduced STAN (STereoscopic ANalyzer) to the public, an on-set tool for stereoscopic shooting developed in the framework of PRIME. The presentation of STAN met with great response both during and after the fair.

Fraunhofer IIS
At this year’s NAB in Las Vegas, IIS has presented results of their research at PRIME for both production and post production. A stereo compatible raw data workflow (see specification in downloads and description) offers the user the opportunity to store camera raw data in full bit-width and to format it with high quality color interpolation algorithms in post production. The micro1 HDTV cameras, which can be used for this (see microHDTV flyer and description), in conjunction with the field recorder megacine (see megacine flyer and description) allow a very compact and efficient setup which can be used for stereo productions amongst other things
DVS
DVS showed at NAB 2009 the first version of the Clipster® video-workstation which allows the processing of stereoscopic content. Images can be electively managed as separate tracks for left and right eye or managed as a combined stereo track.
